1. Write Chemical Reaction
- Click
Chemical Reaction
button in the top right corner of the Bench to write your chemical reactions.
- The
Chemical Reaction
input area provides a function toolbar at the left side section.
- Click
Material
button to add or draw molecular structures for your chemical reaction.
- Use
+
or →
buttons to easily add and organize the materials in your current chemical reaction.
2. Add Materials to Chemical Reaction
- Click
Material
button to add or draw molecular structures for your chemical reaction.
- If a material already exists in My Cabinet, simply drag & drop the material to add it in your chemical reaction.
- A material can be added in two methods:
- Add materials in your LabSpace Inventory.
- Draw the structure of a material for the current LabNote.
- To add materials in your Inventory
- Click
Inventory Search
to open the search console.
- You can search different properties of a material such as name, CAS Number, and more.
- Click
Add item
button to add the searched material into your chemical reaction.
- To draw the structure of a material for the current LabNote.
- Click
Draw Structure
to open the chemical structure canvas.
- Choose the type and name of the structure for the chemical reaction.
- Click
Add
button to add the drawing into your chemical reaction.
3. Write Conditions of Chemical Reaction
- Click
Arrow Block
to use the toolbar of the reaction.
- Add molecular structure used for the chemical reaction in the material area of the
Arrow Block
.
- Also add the text to write conditions of the chemical reaction in the material area of the
Arrow Block
.
4. Edit Existing Chemical Reaction
- Added materials or symbols can be freely relocated via drag & drop.
- Click
trash
button to remove hovered section.
