1. LabNote Quick Guide

  1. Start LabNote
    1. First, log in to LabNote. Then, create a Project and LabNote.
  2. Prepare Material block
    1. Before writing any experiment record, you should prepare Materials in the LabSpace’s inventory.
    2. Click the Material button to prepare them.
  3. Create Procedure
    1. Click the +Add procedure button to create a new Procedure section.
    2. Add the title of the procedure, for example, “Synthesis of zinc-doped iron oxide nanoparticle,” as the sample experiment.
  4. Add Process block
    1. Click the +Add process button to add a Process block.
    2. On the right-sidebar, search for the Process you want to use.
    3. Search results can be one of the following categories:
      1. Lab Process: Process managed within the LabSpace-level.
      2. My Process: Custom Process created within the LabNote-level.
      3. Public Process: Process suggested by LabNote as pre-sets.
    4. To add a new Process, click the +Add Process button; to add an existing Process, click the Process in the list.
    5. Once choosing the right Process, click the +Add button to input different conditions.
  5. Add Material block via Drag-&-Drop
    1. Drag-&-Drop the Material block created in your inventory and move it to the Drop Zone.
    2. Complete writing the experiment record by instantly adding the materials.
