1. LabNote History
- Your LabNotes are saved on the History page by their versions.
- You can check the previous versions and, if needed, you may restore back to the previous version.
2. Standard of Saving Versions
- When in edit mode, LabNote saves versions every 10 minutes or when the browser or the tab is closed.
- ※ If you restore the previous version before the current LabNote is saved in a specific version, the current notes will be discarded.
3. Visit the History Page
- On the History page, you may find the previously saved versions of your LabNote.
- You may choose one of the previous versions to restore. To get to the History page,
- Click
History
on the left topbar Menu
of the LabNote.
- When there's no historical version, the page would be empty.
- When there are historical versions, you will see the list of previous versions.
4. View Saved Histories
- When there are historical versions, you will see the list of previous versions on the right side of the screen.
- The list of previous versions is on the right side of the screen.
- Click the previous versions to view the contents inside.
- The latest saved version is tagged with
Recent
mark.
5. Restore Previous Versions
- If you accidentally delete your LabNote, you can always restore the previous version.
- If you restore the previous version before the current LabNote is saved in a specific version, the current notes will be discarded.
- Select the previous version to restore from the list.
- Click
Restore
button on the bottom right corner.
- When the
Restore
alert window appears, read the precautions, and then click Restore
button for the final step.
- The LabNote you were working on will be restored back to the selected version.
